Lincoln Community Alternative High School

The Alternative Education program at Lincoln Community High School provides students with the opportunity to complete their high school education in an alternative high school setting.

Alternative High School students are carefully selected by staff and administration. Students are often identified as those who possess a sincere desire to complete their high school education, despite facing obstacles and a lack of success in the traditional Lincoln Community High School education setting.

Alternative students are encouraged to be involved in the decisions concerning their own education and are encouraged to be a valuable partner with adults in making appropriate choices concerning all aspects of their education. Additionally, LCHAS students are expected to maintain regular school attendance and to conduct themselves in a mature and respectful manner at all times.

LCAHS administration and staff are committed to assisting students in obtaining their goals. Our school is about change; alternative teachers are dedicated to working with students in any way possible to help them grow both academically and personally.
