Happy Wednesday!

Late last night, the Illinois State Board of Education released the 2018 School Report Card.  The summative designation is based on a data set consisting of 2018 SAT, DLM-AA proficiency scores, English language progress to proficiency, chronic absenteeism, and ninth grade on track and graduation rates.  The four designations are:  Exemplary, Commendable, Under-performing, and Lowest Performing.

Lincoln Community High School received a "Commendable" ranking which means:  A school that has no under-performing student demographic groups at or below  the "all students" group of the lowest 5 percent of all Title 1 schools, a graduation rate greater than 67%, and whose performance is not in the top percent of school statewide.

Mr. Poelker and I will have additional information to share later once other information is available.

2018-19 1st Semester Exam Schedule

Wednesday 12/19 (early dismissal 1:42 p.m.)
Day One - Odd Period Exams - periods 1, 3, 5, 7

    period 1 exam - 8:00 to 9:15 
    period 3 exam - 9:21 to 10:36

1st & 2nd Lunch 10:36 to 11:06

    period 5E exam - 10:42 to 11:57

3rd Lunch 11:57 to 12:27

    period 5L exam - 11:06 to 12:27
    period 7 exam - 12:27 to 1:42

Thursday 12/20 (early dismissal 1:42 p.m.)
Day Two - Even Period Exams - periods 2, 4, 6, 0
students are dismissed at 11:55, but have the option to stay for lunch.  Buses will run at 12:25

    period 2 exam - 8:00 to 9:15 
    period 4 exam - 9:20 to 10:35
    period 6 exam - 10:40 to 11:55

Lunch 11:55 to 12:25

    period 0 exam - 12:30 to 1:42

Attention Seniors! 

You will need to turn in the following by the end of 1st semester. 

1. One baby/childhood photo
2. One senior photo
3. An appropriate quote (if it's not, won't be included and you won't be given another chance to provide one)

All students entering 12th grade MUST show proof of 2 doses of the MCV4 (meningitis) at school entry; the 2nd dose must be administered on or after the 16th birthday. If the 1st dose is received at 16 years of age or older,  only 1 dose is required.
