Happy Wednesday!

Late last night, the Illinois State Board of Education released the 2018 School Report Card.  The summative designation is based on a data set consisting of 2018 SAT, DLM-AA proficiency scores, English language progress to proficiency, chronic absenteeism, and ninth grade on track and graduation rates.  The four designations are:  Exemplary, Commendable, Under-performing, and Lowest Performing.

Lincoln Community High School received a "Commendable" ranking which means:  A school that has no under-performing student demographic groups at or below  the "all students" group of the lowest 5 percent of all Title 1 schools, a graduation rate greater than 67%, and whose performance is not in the top percent of school statewide.

Mr. Poelker and I will have additional information to share later once other information is available.

Bob Bagby
